Fram Professionals is an office professionals recruitment consultancy. We work with privately owned, venture-backed, or AIM listed businesses in the London - Oxbridge "golden triangle". We focus on mid-to-senior permanent hires across key functions such as finance, sales & marketing, legal, and management positions.
Centrally based in Bedfordshire, Fram Professionals work with clients within the university "golden triangle" region of London, Cambridge, and Oxford. Our team works across industries, but has a core focus on high growth, venture-backed, or AIM-listed firms. Fram Professionals is part of Fram Executive Search, which was formed in 2010 and our sister firm, Fram Search, is a leading financial services.
Fram offers both retained executive search and contingent recruitment solutions. We utilise headhunting methods and our strong network on all assignments in order to attract passive talent, as candidates are being saturated with job adverts online. Our proven process and rigorous screening enables us to help clients identify top talent and we offer a highly consultative service. This includes in-depth interviewing, advising on remuneration and benefits, and accelerated integration.

What was Fram?
Fram Search is named after Fram, the strongest wooden ship ever built. Fram was used by the revered Norwegian explorers Fridtjof Nansen and Roald Amundsen for their polar expeditions, and was groundbreaking in its day.
Just as with our name-sake, we believe pioneering thought, attention to detail, and a robust but flexible culture are qualities to aspire to. We pride ourselves on being specialists, and in that too we take after our namesake.
Fram’s history is quite fascinating, and starts with the conundrum of how to force a ship through the brutal Arctic ice. The plans for Fram were innovative in both design and proportions, and owe much to polar explorer Fridtjof Nansen’s bold theories.
She would be used on three important expeditions: with Fridtjof Nansen on a drift over the Arctic Ocean 1893-96, with Otto Sverdrup to the arctic archipelago west of Greenland – now the Nunavut region of Canada – 1898-1902, and with Roald Amundsen to Antarctica for his South Pole expedition 1910-12. Today, she occupies a unique position in the history of exploration.
